Happy new month! Today, September 1st, at 10:22 pm PDT, the Full Moon in Pisces will rise. 
September’s moon is called the Corn Moon or the Harvest Moon because it rises very soon after sunset, which means that the North American farmers have enough light to harvest the summer crops. 
This celestial event is close to the Autumnal Equinox, announcing the end of summer and the beginning of the autumn season.
